According to the type of paper, the number of layers is different, corrugated board is divided into three layers, five layers, seven layers and other categories. Among them, three corrugated board has a layer of corrugated core paper, five corrugated board has two layers of corrugated core paper, and so on. Corrugated paper has the advantages of light and strong load and pressure resistance, shockproof, moistureproof and low cost. Corrugated paper can be produced into corrugated board, and then made into different types of cartons according to customer orders:
1. single-sided corrugated board is generally used as a lining protective layer of commodity packaging or the production of light card case, pad to protect the vibration or collision of goods in the process of storage and transportation;
2. three or five corrugated board for the production of goods sales packaging;
3. Corrugated board of seven layers and above is mainly used to make packing boxes for mechanical and electrical products, furniture, motorcycles, large household appliances and so on.
Box board paper, also known as kraft paper, is very tough in texture, high tear resistance, ring compression strength and tear, in addition to a high water resistance. Carton board paper is mainly used to make corrugated cartons after bonding with corrugated paper core, used to pack the outer packaging of household appliances, daily necessities, etc., can also be used for envelopes, shopping bags, cement bags, etc.
